Install now (developer mode) manual
  1. Download the package: recon-extension.zip.
  2. Unzip it.
  3. Open chrome://extensions.
  4. Toggle on Developer mode (top right).
  5. Click "Load unpacked" and select the unzipped dist folder.
  6. The RECON icon appears in your toolbar.
This is temporary until the Web Store listing is approved.
Walkthrough

Using RECON

01

Visit a supported page

Open any supported entity, e.g. github.com/facebook/react. A cyan RECON badge appears bottom-right - or press Alt+R to summon it.

Open the briefing

Click the badge. A tactical panel slides out with the health score, vitals, intelligence, and a one-line analyst verdict.

Save to Watchlist

Click "Save to Watchlist" to track the entity. RECON keeps an eye on it and surfaces what changes.

Sign in and upgrade

Sign in with an email magic link, then upgrade to Pro to get email and browser alerts plus the weekly digest.

Brief anything on demand

Click the toolbar icon to brief any site on demand, manage your watchlist, set alert rules, and switch themes.
